ESN - Learning the Parts of a Flower

Today two of our ESN classes learned all about the parts of a flower and created their own using colorful craft sticks.

   

    

Science Careers explored by 5th Graders

Each 5th grader researched and learned about a different type of Scientist.  Then, they created one slide in their class Google Slide deck. Today, our 5th graders did a wonderful job presenting what they learned to their classmates.

New STEAM Labs during Community House

Last Wednesday afternoon, September 17th, Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy had a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of our two new STEAM Labs, two TK classrooms, renovation of our Library and Science Lab, and much much more. Here are a few photos of the community visiting our new STEAM Labs:

A Driving Force!

Mrs. Higgins (STEAM) and Mr. Magnus (Science) teamed up to provide our students the opportunities to build some cool cars. It was a definitely an engineering process, as they continually modified their cars to go made them go farther and farther!
