The 2nd graders in Room 15 interviewed a family member and then created these amazing digital books using BookCreator.com

Each student also received a printout of their book to share with their family during their PBL Showcase on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Cemex Project Based Activity in the STEAM Lab!

A big thank-you to our community partner, Cemex, for their engaging presentation to our 5th grade classes in the STEAM Lab! 

Students learned how concrete is made, explored its real-world applications, and even created their own projects as part of their Project Based Learning (PBL) unit. 

We’re grateful for this hands-on learning experience that helped bring science and engineering to life!

TK Building Shapes

Our TK students have been busy constructing Squares, Triangles, and Rectangles using building sticks, screws, and nuts as part of their PBL unit. 

They're getting everything ready to share before the Thanksgiving Break!

Livermore Sanitation teaches RECYCLING

During the past three days, all Marylin students participated in a presentation by Livermore Sanitation.  During each session, our students learned how to sort all their recycling, organics, and trash - both at school and at home. Then they learned how recycled materials are made into new products.

These podcasts will feature our amazing 4th and 5th grade student leaders conducting interviews and providing school announcements.
